Alternatively, students may opt for the single degree, and can chose another recognized foreign universities and HEIs (Erasmus and Overseas) to collect the 30 ECTS in modules abroad and write the master thesis at TU Berlin. This must be planned by the students themselves.

Study objectives

Students on the IMES program will learn about all the fundamental principles of innovation management, entrepreneurship and sustainability. This includes all issues on operative, tactical and strategic levels relevant to founding new businesses or working in R&D. Graduates of the program are able to tackle issues independently, assess research positions and findings competently and apply them to their own research. This is achieved by linking a range of topic areas from economics and social science.

The practice-related aspects of the program include gaining knowledge of structures, processes, legal provisions ect. Working in teams and presenting your results will be a consistent part of your studies.

The following video shows how a typical course might look like.
